Partners in Housing brings together Housers, Wrappers, Supporters, Government and Tenants to help solve affordable housing issues in Vermont.
Partners In Housing - VT is an Ad Hoc group of Housers, Wrappers, Supporters, Government and Tenants committed working together to identifying solutions to affordable housing challenges faced by communities across the state of Vermont.
Housers are developers, renovators, investors, owners, landlords, property managers and anyone else engaged in the business of creating, providing, and managing housing.
Wrappers are the social service organizations that support their clients by helping them prepare for tenancy, locate housing, and stay housed with life skills education and support.
Supporters are the lawyers, realtors, bankers, property managers, plumbers, electricians, and all others who support the Housers in proving safe and healthy housing.
Government includes elected, appointed, or hired, includes all of the many agencies and authorities that have a piece of housing policy, legislation, oversight, enforcement, funding, and prioritization.
Tenants are those who rent and live in apartments, houses, or other rental properties across our communities. They play a crucial role in the housing ecosystem and are the end-users of the housing provided by Housers, supported by Wrappers, and facilitated by Supporters and Government agencies.
